A woman from Surrey was stabbed in the neck on Thursday of last week in front of her 21 month old son. Not only that, the attacker held a knife to her child's throat before stabbing his mother once in the back of the neck.

It just makes me so sick that there are people like that out there. No one knows exactly why it happened, the police estimate that it was either a robbery gone wrong or that she was attacked at random.

You just gotta wonder what kind of sick individual would do something like that! I hope that if they catch him they throw away the key!

Just what I was going to say Goblin, but unfortunately these sick people who would do such things exist, and how they can live with themselves afterwords I really don't know when it's all over the news, surely they must start to realise just how evil they've been.

the sad fact is though, that's someone's son! maybe someone's father!

I thought it was pretty amazing how she managed to participate in the interview and how she wanted the process to continue even after 6 hours. She's determined even in the state she's in to have this man caught.

she is, and fair play to the woman - she was pregnant with her second child at the time of the attack but they haven't confirmed whether her unborn baby survived.

to answer your previous question though ines, no she's not dead but she is paralized from the nec down. although she is now starting to have feeling in parts of her body - only time will tell if she will make a full recovery.

its doubtful she will recover fully but they will know more once the spinal shock wears off...I'm just amazed at her courage and attitude...

God!! I'm really shocked and I really hope she will recover, even though I don't know her. Did this sick person get caught by the police?

Doesn't it make you shudder? And I'm glad they seem to have a lead, the story hasn't even made the news over here yet.
